Mr. Lawson developed a courtyard transformation concept for the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, reimagining an underutilized play area as a flexible outdoor gathering space. His role focused on early feasibility and spatial analysis, translating existing infrastructure constraints into opportunities for placemaking, accessibility, and long-term functionality. The proposal organizes program elements around stormwater systems, utility access, and architectural context, creating a cohesive environment that supports events, daily use, and institutional identity.
