Woodstock
Reformation Brewery (Woodstock)
2024
Mr. Lawson collaborated with Reformation Brewery at their Woodstock location to expand and enhance the brewery’s outdoor experience through strategic design and site integration. The project included a deck and roof expansion to increase covered seating capacity while improving circulation, accessibility, and overall guest comfort. In addition to the physical expansion, Mr. Lawson identified opportunities to strengthen the brewery’s relationship to the future Elm Street Pedestrian Promenade — a larger public-realm initiative aimed at transforming the adjacent one-way street into a pedestrian-focused corridor.
The design emphasized ADA accessibility improvements and thoughtful arrival sequences, positioning the brewery as an active edge to the future promenade and creating opportunities for gathering, queuing, and placemaking at the front entry. The project reflects a balance between hospitality functionality and long-term urban integration, supporting Reformation’s evolving role within the Woodstock community.
